The ACCI ran a very successful ‘Buy Local’ Christmas shopping campaign with local businesses donating products and vouchers towards 3 prizes drawn at the pub on the 20th December, First prize –Pam Winter-present that night, Second prize –Kristen Tromp, Third prize-B. Norman. Congratulations to you all and a huge thanks to participating businesses and of course to all who did and continue to shop locally helping Augusta’s circular economy.

Carols at the Colourpatch was again a great success with the most perfect weather conditions.

The Chamber continues to work with the Shire on issues to make the CBD more attractive and safe and congratulate them on solving the pedestrian problem at the Museum site. We look forward to this paving being continued toward Blackwood Ave in the future.  This will be an exciting year for Augusta with a Community workshop late March on issues important to those who live here and how we would like our town to look.  More information will follow when it comes to hand.

Your Chamber continues to support small business and community and is a strong voice for Augusta, with membership at an all time high we look forward to an exciting year ahead.  Look out for our March Business after 5 event when members can bring a friend, they introduce and inform us about small business as well as provide networking opportunities and a great social occasion.
