You are invited to a Climate Action Planning Forum at 1pm – 3pm Friday 10th May at the Augusta CRC to have your input into a climate action plan for our community.

The forum, being organised by the Climate Action Taskforce AMR (a community working party of the Shire’s Sustainable Advisory Committee), is one of a series of forums being held across the shire to encourage the input of all community sectors into the plan. A Climate Action Summit is to be held at the WSL Surfing Marquee on May 28th as part of the process.

The Augusta Chamber is hosting the Forum to enable the Augusta community and business sector to have input:
You will find out what is already happening at the local level as regards reducing carbon emissions.
Have the opportunity to put forward your ideas as regards local solutions and clear pathways for our community.
Listen to guest speaker Member for Warren, Terry Redman outline the very latest on microgrids in our State.

Your input is encouraged to ensure the development of an achievable, practical and innovative community driven climate action plan.
Tea and coffee will be provided
